    “Dentistry? What’s that?”
“Oh, just something humans invented because they don’t have rows upon rows of teeth”
“They don’t? Are you sure they’re omnivores?”

By the way, Ellie, you might want to pick your “friends” better, all your future study specimens are running away from you now!

It might not be a good thing… I mean that IS what GlaDOS said and look how that turned out…

I’m impressed with Dr. Strang – that guy is crazy-prepared! I mean, who else would have thought when sending an exploratory robot light years away to a mysterious alien planet that he would need to program her with dentistry skills, of all things? I suppose that’s why he’s got an Institute named after him and I don’t.

On the other hand, now that I think of it, Ellie’s training is entirely video-based. It might take her a bit of trial-and-error to get it right. Ouch!

If she’s learned her dentistry by watching decades of sitcoms and/or three stooges videos, I pity the poor Omnivore – there’s bound to be a lot of gratuitous violence involved.

    “Trust me, I’m a dentist….”

Doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Hmm… try reading it with Steve Martin’s voice.
