Poor Dental Hygiene Pays Off
No, not really. But I’ve been genetically cursed with some nasty bacteria that like to punch holes in my teeth no matter how much I brush or floss or gargle or scrape or whatever. So I’ve spent my fair share of time in the dentist chair, under the drill.
It all paid off today as I have been chosen to be Patient of the Month in my dentist’s July email letter. They let me say pretty much whatever I wanted so I wrote mostly about Ellie on Planet X and included a few comics as well, along with a photo I took with my phone of my teeth being excavated (which, due to vanity, I will not re-post here).
So, If you found your way here via your dentist’s email, welcome! And thank you Doc for keeping my smile bright and white!
Now that’s some unique marketing in action! Go cat go!
definitely an unique way of marketing 🙂 btw, I’m a dentist and it’s unfortunate that despite your best effort, teeth tends to still get “bad.” Genetics has a HUGE factor in developing dental problems, approximately 50% of the reason can be attributed to genetics (at least gum disease based on research done on twins). But I’m glad that despite you carrying a high risk factor, you are constantly brushing, flossing, and seeing a dentist to make you the Patient of the Month 🙂 good job! 🙂
I think I might have been patient of the month because of how much money I’ve put into my teeth there. They felt sorry for me. 😀
Or it might have been showing them videos of the Ricky Gervais show while they were cleaning my teeth.
