Check back Friday and I’ll post a big version of that super fancy picture of Jeff!
D’awwww. It’s like the Jeff-a Lisa! Wonderful!
And worth almost as much!
I don’t think my brain could handle it either.
Here! Have some sugar with your color!
Wow. You color skills are sick!
I do notice that Jeff, in fact, has not changed color in the slightest. (There does seem to be a lot more texture, but the colors are the same.)
However, the psychedelic background definitely brought back memories of the ’60s.
I think he’s a slightly bluer blue and orangier orange.
That second panel is absolutely beautiful.
Wow. Great job with that second panel. Really beautiful.
Technicolor dream! Too awesome for even Ellie.
Next we’re going for Sense-A-Round!
Does that include smell? I’ve always wondered what juicy root smells like. But not wet marf… you may have to censor that.
Smell? Of course! It’s my understanding that juicy root smells like cotton candy, chocolate chip cookies, and cherry pie all rolled into one. Marfs smell just like that, with the addition of sour milk.
You’ve been waiting forever to do that second panel, didn’cha?
Honestly? It only occurred to me a couple of weeks ago!
Strangely reminded of “one night of song” tho.
How much longer than usual did it take to paint?
Thank you, LdaQuirm. Is that the Asimov story? The strips usually take about three hours, but I worked on that one panel for about six on its own.
Yup. That’s the one. How are we gonna survive with just blue & orange now…
I don’t know how it would affect the tone of the strip, but I’d love more 4-color views of it.
I’m betting it would affect the strip’s deadlines though, wouldn’t it? Haha
By a little.
Consistently brilliant! Dang it all I love Jeff, he’s just the best! And speaking of best…when was the last time I mentioned Ellie is the best webcomic going? Oh, just now…
No, you are, Denver!
