    Ellie’s posture doesn’t change but she’s in a different location in each panel, So I didn’t get the joke — that she’s “locked up” — immediately. Hope we don’t have to wait a couple of years until the Reboot command arrives from Earth!

        I got the sense she is on auto-pilot, moving forward but non-responsive.

          yes, like someone in shock just moving, but unable to react. SHe looks so sad.
