I love this strip! I’m just getting into digital art & would love to know what (presumably Photoshop?) brushes you use to get that kinda dry gouache effect.
Thanks, Uland! I actually don’t use Photoshop at all for the comics, except to do some editing at the end. For the gouache effect I use Corel Painter and some variation of the oil brushes. The “inked” lines are done with custom brushes in Sketchbook Pro.
I love the triceratops’ expression, it almost looks like a cat.
I don’t care how many horns you have on your face. When you see that coming, you’re gonna scream like a little kid.
