Is that like a cross between a geek and a dork, heavy on the dork?

I think she was looking for “derpy”, but having literally been raised by 70s TV shows, there’s no way she could’ve known the term, so she did what she does best! Made a new term up!

I had to look that up. Solid evidence, positive or negative, that I’m not a Brony. Now we just have to come up with a name for 30 year old male fans of Ellie who are also comic artists (the majority of the readers that show up here). ;D

We’re pretty sure that’s what’s going on. 🙂 Heavy on the dork.

Of course, she could always be referring to the historical character: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxim_Gorky

Heh, I like it, and in the middle, he’s doing a perfect gorky pose!

Thanks Tom. Jeff’s nothing if not a geek, heavy on the dork.

Is she talking about Jeff, or about the rock?

That would just completely change the meaning of “gorky”. Geologically Rocky?

I’ve been wondering, with Ellie’s previously demonstrated habit of naming rocks at random, how is it that this rock doesn’t have it’s own name yet? All those other rocks got names, and they haven’t even done anything yet!

I’ve asked our Planetary Geologist, Dr. Jimenez, about this and he says that the rock’s name is forthcoming. Stay tuned!

Gorky, I like it Anderson. It reminds me of my younger brother in high school hanging around with his 2 best friends – they were kinda gorky too!

Thanks Sue! How is that gorky brother of yours?

I’d make a clever comment, but I’d probably just sound like a big ol gork.
