“Continental Breakfast” or “No Free Lunch”
We were almost going to title this comic “So That’s Where Babies Come From!”
Mission Control is going on vacation for several weeks and I wanted to leave you with a bit of a cliffhanger. Maybe this entry will help shed some light on Muffin’s and Jeff’s friendship. You won’t have to wait too long – Ellie and friends will be back on January 5th. It’ll be here before you know it. In the meantime, check back as I’ll still be posting to the blog. And I promised my pal John that I’d post a page of the best Muffin drawings from this year’s strips, just like I did for Jeff and Ellie. Look for that on Friday. Meanwhile, there’s some big projects that need full attending to, as well as some site maintenance and other stuff.
By the way, this is strip number 300.
If you double that and add 30 that gives you 630 metric comics.
Congrats on 300 buddy, way to go!
Everybody! D’awwwwww
Have a good vacation!
D’awwwwwww. Baby Jeff (?) is pretty darn cute.
And I guess this answers Jeff’s earlier question: Its a story about almost being eaten.
woah 300! keep it up!
Yay! Muffin page soon!
And the metric comic comment is a beauty, eh?
poetry in verse and image! huzzah!!
300? Whoa nice!
Also, if you were to say 6 +3 +0 then it would be the number if infinity: 9! (no matter how many times you add 9 to 9, you’ll always end with nine if you add those numbers to each other; e.g 9 x 6 = 54 = 5 + 4 = 9 🙂 )
If by numbers you mean digits.
True for nine in decimal, n-1 for any radix n.
It’s mathemagical.
They don’t call you Calculator for nothin’!
Thanks, all of you! It means a ton to have you guys coming back day after day and letting me know what you think! Thanks for letting me and Ellie be a part of your day.
I hope the Wah-zo managed to find her way home before the feeding situation got dire…
Ah, since nothing bad ever really seems to happen on Planet X (not permanent anyway), I’m sure she made it home in time.
And undoubtedly picked up something vegetarian to feed to her kids along the way, rather than slurping up another baby Jeff?
*disclaimer: no Warbling Orange-Crested Quadrapuses were harmed during the making of this comic *
Like noodles or something.
Congratulations on #300! (Or metric #630!)
Or many, many, many in Wah-zo numbers.
Wha-zho’s are known for their counting abilities, so that could be a lot.
Thanks, Axonite!
So, is that it? Comic over?
Finito?
Sad. Was cute.
Nope, just on vacation! Check back January 6th!
Have an great vacation!
Thanks, KNO3! It’s almost over, so Ellie will be back soon!
Locked down Lee, composing comments in Covid-struck 2020 times, sends sincere salutations on astonishingly adept alliteration, epically enlightening Ellie!
