How close is the Strang institute to figuring out what’s wrong?
Does anyone recognise what the beeps mean, if anything?
Well, WE know what’s wrong and what needs to happen to fix it. We just hope that Muffin figures it out or Ellie’s no more useful than a point and shoot camera.
I like that link for the beeps, but Ellie’s beeps are kind of like the ones your smoke alarm makes when you need to change the battery. In this case they’re signalling an error and waiting for someone to fix it. We’ve sent a signal, but it’ll take 8 and a half years to get there.
