It’s the alien Firefox! =) I like how she’s whistling in the last panel.

Thanks Tom. I wasn’t sure if that came across clear.

This is my first look at your comic. I love the overall feel of it. Nice work James.

I have to wonder, though, does all of planet X speak the same language?

Analysis of Ellie’s data indicate that, although she hasn’t identified any entirely different languages, there are several distinct local dialects. For instance, Jeff says the word “coffee” with a greater emphasis on the “fee” than Muffin does.

Come on Frank, it’s obviously some sort of translation program Ellie keeps evolving…

She’s trying to find out if Balloon Boy’s species has a language, as up until now he’s seemingly been silent. More research is required!

Nobody wants to listen to commentary when they’re hungry!

Having come across your Z&F fanart, I’ve spent much of the morning reading through this comic. I almost didn’t click through, but I’m glad I did; I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love this. Great take on the “Wild Kingdom”/Animal Planet type of show.

Thanks Frank. Yup, we need to get some more of this kind of thing in here. She is on a scientific expedition, after all.

Wow, have you shown this to any of the print outfits? Because it’s wonderful and cute. Thank you for sharing it. Go Ellie! I think she gives those crazy aliens a warped but very positive idea of what Earth must be like.

Thanks Russell! We’re still looking into such things as publishing, but there’s plans.
