          I suspected that but didn’t check. Is it okay to use non Latin or Greek in the species name? I know that there is louse named after Gary Larson (Strigiphilus garylarsoni) but it looks like his name has been latinized.

    That is an awesome name. It doesn’t beat my favorite tho’ : Deinococcus Radiodurans, the Terrible Radiation-resistant Berry!

      If you’re a radiation resistant berry you pretty much have to have a cool name like that.
