If you wanted to try it, I think that alteration might work; possibly even better, since the second panel is his pause for thought. There’s nothing particularly wrong with this arrangement, though. 🙂
Thanks Scott. Honestly, I feel I kinda botched this one a bit. I think panels two and four should have had Jeff holding the s’mores out in front of him, right next to each other, and his one eye closed scrutinizing them. Ah, it’s a learning experience.
I love the change of bg color in the middle panel where he decides to even it up. And I like his idea of “evening things up!” 😀
Thanks Tom. I’m wondering if it would work as well if the second and fourth panel were white instead.

I agree with Tom. The white panel makes a nice visual balance.
Thanks DH. Yeah, I had several four panel strips that seemed too “heavy” because there was no lighter panel to balance it out.
Jeff’s logic makes total sense to me :)!
I have firsthand experience, so I know that it works out in the end for somebody!
you pace so well!
Thanks, Sea Sick! Sometimes, though, I look back at them and realize how I could have made them better.
Smores can make people do that. You handled this perfectly.
You’re so kind, Frank. 🙂
