Our pal Joel Duggan has got an Indiegogo campaign going to create the first volume of his stupendous comic Starcrossed. He’s got about 12 days left and only needs $400 to reach his goal. Go help him out. Be the hero to get him across the finish line! Plus, . . . and maybe I ain’t supposed ta say . . . I wrote the introduction and did a little pin up to go along with it. Here’s a little peek below. Now go buy some awesome comics!
Call it sun spot activity. Whatever it is, there’s all kinds of craziness going on at Mission Control this week and getting today’s comic online for you to read has met with a lot of road blocks. So I’m making the call and Ellie, Jeff, Muffin, Balloon Boy, and Sparkles will be back on Monday. Meanwhile, check out some other great comics over there on the left hand side of the page, including my buds at Spacedock 7.
See you Monday!
So yesterday I gave a talk about Ellie on Planet X at the Ann Arbor District Library. It was a lot of fun and I’d like to take the time to thank everyone who was involved from Jerzy Drozd, who invited me out, Sharon Iverson, who organized everything, Diego for getting my files, and Matt for setting everything computery up for me.
So, yeah. No new comic though. And this after I told everyone at the library I was going right back to the Strang Institute to get to work on it. Well…it’s ALMOST done. I want to do something extra good for everybody because the next strip will be number 200! It’s all written (the hard part) and it just needs to be drawn and colored (the easy/fun part). I’ll post it as soon as it’s finished, Tuesday morning at the latest. I think it’s going to be pretty good.
As a treat, here’s a drawing of Ellie done by Paul Celano, one of the awesome people who came out to see my presentation!
