I got some mail a few days ago: Joel Duggan’s collection of his comic strip Starcrossed!
Inside, Joel sketched a pic of Ellie and Sam.
And did I mention that I wrote the forward? That was quite an honor to be asked to do that.

Our pal Joel Duggan has got an Indiegogo campaign going to create the first volume of his stupendous comic Starcrossed. He’s got about 12 days left and only needs $400 to reach his goal. A few months back, Joel Duggan of the webcomic Starcrossed made some fantastic fan art for us here at Ellie Central. I thought I’d return the favor by doing some for him. Joel was also one of three people who interviewed me back in July for Comics Coast To Coast. So do us here at Mission Control a favor and visit the excellent comic that is Starcrossed. Joel Duggan, one of the three creators who interviewed me for Comics Coast To Coast, sent me his interpretations of Ellie, Jeff, and Muffin using the newly christened Sorbet Pallet (or was it Sherbet (or Sherbert, as we say in the Mitten State)) that I use. Anyway, what was I saying? Oh, yeah…I was bowled over by the incredible job he did. It’s this kind of thing that really makes doing Ellie so much fun.
