OK, where did Muffin get the screwdriver???

The fact that he’s going to use it to “pry” with shows that certain things about the use of tools are universal (at least to Earth and Planet X).

I think that’s the screwdriver Ellie made out of volcanic glass, a scrap of wood, and tree sap back when she threw a tread in Nov 2010.

You are absolutely right, but how did Muffin get it?

I love the title as well. It fits perfectly. 🙂

My lovely girlfriend comes up with a lot of the titles. She quickly blurted this one out and then took it back, but it was too late. I couldn’t un-hear it. Now I get to ntah-nyah her that somebody liked it!

Amazing! The “taped” warning was translated into X-ian (I’m assuming Jeff and Muffin understood and were not simply startled by the sudden gibberish) so there must still be a good deal of “processing” occuring inside.

(My PC on its best day is nowhere near as good as Ellie on her worst.)

That’s a good sign. It means her language centers are intact.

We’re not too worried. We’re still getting a signal.

She’s an amazing piece of machinery.

Of course, Muffin tries anyway 😀 One wonders what he would have done had he actually pried her open!

Good thing we don’t get to find out. There’s delicate stuff in there.

Well, it’s good to see that the “force” used is equivalent to the threat presented, hehe.
