Good friend of Ellie, Jay Fosgitt, has a new comic coming out called Bodie Troll. It’s the story of the world’s cutest troll and how all he wants is to be scary (which he’s not). You can read up on Jay’s progress at his blog and find out how you can order the first issue!

Yesterday I sat in for Christopher Baldwin on his strip Spacetrawler. And today, here’s a page from my sketchbook featuring Nogg, Mr. Zorilla, and his car.
I’ve been a fan of Christopher Baldwin’s comics for a long time, first reading his strip Bruno years ago. Then I followed him as he moved on to the charming Little Dee. And now Christopher takes on sci fi and makes it his own thing with Spacetrawler, the funniest thing in space since The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy!
I was lucky enough to get to sit in for Christopher as he takes the week off, so go take a look at my interpretation of some of his characters and then head into his huuuge archive and get caught up. It looks like Spacetrawler‘s about to reach the climax in the series, so now’s a good time to jump on board!
As an artist, I find inspiration from a lot of other artists that I really love. It couldn’t be more true in this case since this artist also happens to be my “special lady friend,” Azucena Nava-Moreno.
