How To Make A Zombie
Lookie here kids: it’s the notes and scribbles that led up to yesterday’s installment of Ellie On Planet X. I hafta hand it to my niece who pointed out that Planet X probably has something like a Venus Flytrap amongst its varied fauna.

Love to see process stuff! This is really cool, I love the sketches of the people. I plan out my pages the same way, with a thumbnail layout like that. Great stuff!
Sometimes I think the process stuff looks better than the finished art. 😀
My process rarely includes a thumbnail though. I’ll do one for larger pages, but if it’s just a small strip, I usually just visualize it in my head. Occasionally I’ll have a little sketch if the action or character in the strip is particularly interesting, just to work it out ahead of time.
So the message is, don’t go to the diner if you don’t want to make a zombie strip?
Something like that, yes!
