Hey, Russell! Yeah, Ellie’s got a wee problem with her full spectrum camera. It seems she can only see in blue and orange (http://ellieonplanetx.com/2012/05/17/comics/complementary-colors/). So we just based Muffin’s color on the one color image she snapped of Jeff. And yes, Muffin is wearing a hat. He’s got a little puffball underneath it which is actually his “nose”.
